renee prince is a graduate of lubbock christian university and the university of texas at dallas. she has been working side-by-side with small business in public accounting for over 10 years and licensed as a certified public accountant in the state of texas since 2009. renee previously owned a firm as a sole-proprietor before teaming up with monica kirk to form pk & associates, llp in november of 2013. she is a member of the american institute of public accounting and texas society of certified public accountants. renee is also an advanced certified quickbooks proadvisor.
in addition to being a cpa, renee spends time in her community as secretary of the granbury quilters guild. in her spare time, renee runs, quilts, and spends quality time fishing and in the outdoors with her husband and son.
monica kirk has over 20 years of accounting experience in a wide range of industries. she grew up springtown, tx where she graduated from high school in 1994. she then went on to graduate from the university of texas at arlington with a bachelor of science in accounting and a masters of taxation. from there she has been pursuing her career in public accounting with a focus in taxation. soon after graduating from the university of texas at arlington, monica became a cpa. she has worked with industries such as oil and gas, farming, real estate, construction, non-profit, investments, health care, closely-held businesses, and many more.
monica is a member of the american institute of certified public accountants and the texas society of certified public accountants. she is also an ambassador on the springtown chamber of commerce and is currently working with other members of the chamber to revive the springtown beautification committee where she plans to be active in helping clean-up the community. she is married with one young son and one young daughter. monica spends her free-time with her family, traveling, hiking, riding dirt bikes, going on spontaneous adventures and enjoying the country life.
